We have developed this 10 week program as both rehab practitioners and as specialist Pre & Post Natal exercise coaches to serve women in their first few weeks after giving birth to their babies. A lot of postnatal exercise programs start from six weeks plus and there is a general guideline that the doctors will say “Wait till you’re about six weeks post pregnancy” to start any exercise which is a generic guideline. It is important to make sure you’re not jumping straight back into the gym or go for a run, etc following birth. However, we miss out on educating women on highly important early days breathing and gentle deep core exercises when we do this. There are actually lots of things that you can be doing and should be doing in those first few weeks after delivery.
